Nutrition Education Course

As a Wellness Coach at Lion of Judah Fitness Club, I designed and facilitated a three-part instructor-led course to help clients understand macronutrients (carbohydrates, proteins, and fats) and how to build a balanced plate to support their weight loss and fitness goals.
This project focused on making nutrition education practical, engaging, and actionable so participants could make sustainable dietary changes.

Development Strategy
To ensure clarity and engagement, I:
✔ Designed a structured curriculum where each session built on the previous one for progressive learning.
✔ Created learner-friendly handouts with key takeaways and actionable dietary guidance.
✔ Integrated interactive learning through Q&A sessions and Facebook-based assignments for practical reinforcement and accountability.
Problem Statement
Many clients at the fitness club struggled to understand how macronutrients impact their diet, leading to confusion about portion sizes and food choices. This knowledge gap hindered their ability to optimize nutrition for weight loss and performance.
The goal: Develop a structured learning experience that simplified nutrition concepts and provided clear, applicable guidance.

Results & Impact
This course successfully simplified nutrition education and empowered fitness club members to make informed, healthier dietary choices. By incorporating structured learning, engagement tactics, and real-world application, I created a user-centered learning experience that led to higher client confidence in meal planning and nutrition decision-making.
This project highlights my ability to:
✔ Conduct needs assessments to design effective learning solutions.
✔ Develop engaging, structured learning content tailored to audience needs.
✔ Leverage interactive and multimedia tools to drive engagement and retention.
